CODE OF ETHICS

As a qualified training professional, I follow a code of ethics set out by The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (Imdt)

This includes:

training dogs professionally with honesty and integrity and in the best interests of the dog, owner and public;

actively providing and promoting force-free training methods and actively rejecting any methods or equipment that may cause physical or mental discomfort;

respecting privacy and confidentiality of clients;

working within my professional limits and referring owners with needs beyond those limits to a suitable professional;

continuing my own professional development as a trainer through research, study and attendance at courses.
