TRAINING SERVICES
Puppy School is a great way to start your training journey, packed full of essential information and practical activities.
Puppies can start at 10 weeks / 1 week after their first vaccinations. I also welcome older puppies and dogs who have no training experience making Puppy School ideal for rescues too.
Puppy School is a 6 week course, each weekly session lasting 60 minutes supported by comprehensive notes, videos and general advice as appropriate through a group What's App.
Classes are kept to a maximum of 4 puppies to allow individual attention for all and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Two adults are more than welcome and children who can settle, listen and would like to take part in the training are also welcome.
Puppy School introduces foundations, emphasising key behaviours and life skills
as well as building and nurturing confidence and resilience.​
Foundations are essential - good training is always the basics done well.

Puppy Meets & Adventures are a friendly, fun opportunity to meet a range of other puppies and their owners.
They take place in various venues local to Rowde / Devizes and are for puppies from 12 weeks up to and including 6 months.
They are 60 minute sessions with a maximum of 4 puppies and anybody is welcome to accompany puppy.
Puppy Play & Train Meets include sniffari time, parkour and guided free play while learning about emotional regulation, chilling out together and managing those essential longlines.

Everyday Manners Training Club
Everyday Manners Training Club is the brand new accessible, flexible way to train. It's open to all puppies/dogs, any age/breed who have attended Puppy School or worked with me in any capacity 1:1 with a maximum of 4 per session to ensure individual attention for all. Sessions are booked individually with no limit to the number of sessions - come every week, fortnightly, make your own little block of 4 or 6 or come whenever you need a little extra support. Sessions are available on different days at different times every week because life doesn't always guarantee you can be available at the same time every week. Sessions cannot be cancelled but they can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before, in the event that the unexpected happens. every session will be structured to foster achievable progress at the pace that's right for you and your puppy/dog. Criteria can be raised or lowered. Good training is founded on recall, loose lead walking, wait/stay and settle underpinned by duration, distance and distraction and in the first 2-3 years of puppy's life, these need to be revisited and fine-tuned as puppy undergoes various developmental stages & changes. every session will be focused on building & developing the skills you need for everyday life through a wide range of activities & games as well as supporting the needs of your puppy/dog. Each week, the content of the sessions will change so if you want to come every week on a rolling basis or block book, you will have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills & strategies. Please note that if your puppy/dog has big feelings around others. you may want to consider 1:1's and /or Canines, Confidence & Calm before starting Training Club.
Family Pet Gundog Foundations
As an Associate Scurry Dog Instructor, my Family Pet Gundog Foundations takes inspiration from the exciting and challenging, games-filled gundog world and introduces training that is structured by means of small, achievable steps. It is designed to to explore and harness dogs natural talents, traits, characteristics and breed-specific instincts. At the same time, it enables you and your dog to learn and have fun, develop your relationship, build connection and bond. Gundog activities not only channel your dogs genetic superpowers, they meet their needs, providing essential physical and mental stimulation and enrichment and go a long way towards addressing many of the common issues that owners find themselves facing, especially in those first few years. Family Pet Gundog Foundations is available to all breeds from 6 months, regardless of background or experience.
