TRAINING SERVICES
Puppy School is a great way to start your training journey, packed full of essential information and practical activities.
Puppies can start at 9 weeks / 1 week after their first vaccinations. I also welcome older puppies and dogs who have no training experience making Puppy School ideal for rescues too.
Puppy School is a 6 week course, each weekly session lasting 60 minutes and followed by comprehensive notes, videos and general support as appropriate through a group What's App or group email.
Classes are kept to a maximum of 4 puppies to allow individual attention for all and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Two adults are more than welcome and children who can settle, listen and would like to take part in the training are also welcome.
Puppy School introduces foundations, emphasising key behaviours and life skills
as well as building and nurturing confidence and resilience.​
Foundations are essential - good training is always the basics done well.

Puppy Play & Train Socials are a friendly, fun opportunity to meet a range of other puppies and their owners.
They take place in various venues local to Rowde, Devizes & Calne and are for puppies from 12 weeks & up to 7 months.
They are 60 minute sessions with a maximum of 4 puppies and anybody is welcome to accompany puppy.
Puppy Play & Train Socials include sniffari time, parkour and guided free play while learning about emotional regulation, chilling out together and managing those essential longlines.

Everyday Manners
Everyday Manners at The Rowdey Cow enables you to continue your training journey and focuses specifically on recall, loose lead, wait/stay, settle, stop and impulse control alongside appropriate socialisation. These are the very foundations of training and continuing to build and develop these will make your partnership easier and safer. Everyday Manners is for any age from 20 weeks and ideal for puppies who are entering or in adolescence.
Scurry
Dogs
Scurry Dog takes inspiration from the exciting and challenging, games-filled gundog world and introduces training that is structured by means of small, achievable steps. It is designed to to explore and harness dogs natural talents, traits, characteristics and breed-specific instincts. At the same time, Scurry Dog enables you and your dog to learn and have fun, develop your relationship, build connection and bond. Scurry Dog not only channels your dogs genetic superpowers, it meets their needs, providing essential physical and mental stimulation and enrichment and goes a long way towards addressing many of the common issues that owners find themselves facing, especially in those first few years. Scurry Dog is available to all breeds, regardless of age, background or experience.
